Updated Oct 2026 · how we rate brokers
Mail you send
Mail to [email protected] reaches an ordinary mailbox. While it is useful we keep the message - a correction thread stays up for as long as the page it fixed is live - and we do not add you to anything, nor pass it on.
Your correspondence will be deleted if you ask us to, and we will state when it is done. This request shares the same address.
Where the line runs
- General information about how licensing and trading work
- That is what this site publishes
- A recommendation of a broker, a pair or a position size
- Not here, and not by mail
- Anything adjusted to your income, debts or tolerance for loss
- We do not know them and never ask
- Advice as the SEC Ghana defines it
- A regulated activity; we are not licensed for it
If you want advice, take it from someone the SEC Ghana authorises to give it.
Keeping this notice current
If the site starts doing something that touches your data - an analytics tool, a comment form, a saved preference - this page changes before that ships, not after, and the date below moves. A privacy page is honest when it describes what the site does today.
Hence the date is not decoration but the claim: it says when the built site was last opened and this page checked against it. A correction is anything here that the pages no longer do, or anything they do that is not here; the address above is where it goes.
| Step | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · You write | The page address and what the correct value is | Any time |
| 2 · We check it | Against the public source you name, not against our own page | Same week |
| 3 · The page changes | The figure is replaced and the page says it was corrected | With the date on it |
A number is never quietly edited to leave the page looking as though it always said that.
What we hold on visitors: nothing
CediDesk sets no cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage, or fingerprinting. Across all pages, there is no tag manager, advertising pixel, analytics script or social widget. Open the developer tools on any page here and look at storage and the network requests to confirm it.
With no accounts, logins or newsletter, there is no database in which your name appears. You are not identified by anything we hold if you have never written to us.
| Mechanism | Used here | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies | No | Nothing is set, first or third party |
| Local and session storage | No | Nothing is written to your browser |
| Analytics of ours | No | No script, no pixel, no tag manager |
| Accounts or logins | No | There is no database with your name in it |
| Newsletter or forms | No | Nothing to subscribe to |
| Fingerprinting | No | No device or canvas identification |
Check it yourself: developer tools, the storage tab and the network tab, on any page here.
What the hosting provider records
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Recording the technical details of a request in its own logs — IP address, time, the page requested, the browser string — is something any web host does, in order to serve the page and keep the service up. That processing is performed by Cloudflare under its own terms, and we do not use it to build profiles.
Some pages show a live price. Fetched by your browser directly from api.gold-api.com, api.binance.com, api.twelvedata.com and api.coinbase.com, the price does not pass through us, and we never see it. As with any website you visit, those services see the request, including your IP address. Not because of any promise about your data, but because they answer without an account or a tracking key, we chose them.
| Party | What it sees | Why it is there |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | The request, your IP and browser string, in its own logs | It serves the files |
| api.gold-api.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.binance.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.twelvedata.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| api.coinbase.com | The request your browser makes for a price | A live quote on the page |
| The broker, after you follow a partner link | Whatever its own site collects, under its own policy | You left this site |
None of it passes through us, and we build no profile from any of it.
What happens when you click through
Outbound partner links on this site go through an address on this domain that redirects to the broker and attaches a tag naming the page you came from. The page is what the tag identifies, not you: it holds no name, no email, no device id.
You are in their hands once on the broker's site, subject to their cookies and their privacy policy, the one that governs anything you do there, including opening an account. Read it before you fund anything.
The sole advert here is an image we host on this domain, and the headline is written as ordinary text on the page. It tells nobody anything when loaded, since this site makes no request for it and no advertiser sees your browser until you opt to follow the link.
| What it is | How it is marked | Who pays |
|---|---|---|
| A partner link to a broker | Marked sponsored, behind a label saying where it goes | The broker may pay us if you open an account |
| The register extract | Copied from the regulator | Nobody can pay to be in it, out of it, or described differently |
| Everything else on the page | Not for sale | No editorial placement, no paid ranking |
You pay nothing extra for using a partner link, and the payment changes nothing on the page.
